The project is a two-story residence situated on a sloped terrain. Due to the limitations of the site, the house has a long and somewhat unconventional layout. The original interior was outdated, and the lighting was poor, making the renovation quite challenging. Taking into account the client's preferences and budget, the designer incorporated several picture windows and skylights to improve natural lighting, made slight adjustments to the layout and house shape, and created a more approachable version of the wabi-sabi aesthetic. This design strikes a balance between a cool elegance and playful charm.
